The Salem Lady Cats traveled to Carlyle for volleyball action and left with a 25-14, 25-17 victory to improve to 3-4 on the season. The JV won in 3 sets losing 26-28 and coming back with a 25-20, 26-24 win to improve to 4-4. The freshman won 21-19, 21-20. The Lady Cats return to action in Cahokia play Thursday at home with Freeburg.
South Central beat CHCB 25-9, 25-11 to improve to 5-3. Sydnee Garrett had 10 digs to go with 8 aces in the win. Madyson Magnus 12 assists, Halle Smith 11 kills. The SC JV is 4-4 after their loss 25-27, 20-25. The Fresh/Soph is 4-2-and-1 after their 2 set win. SC will play at Christ Our Rock tonight.
