A 22-year-old Salem man had short-lived freedom when posting a $1,000 bond to get out of the Marion County Jail on Monday on a sex offender registration violation. After Anthony Snow went to the Salem Police Department to correct the violation, it was determined he had another violation of the law for failure to report a new employer within three days and was arrested again on a new violation. He was taken back to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges.

47-year-old James Thompson of Whitehaven Road in Vernon was arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies on two counts of domestic battery after he was allegedly involved in an altercation with his teenage son.
