In prep volleyball, Salem dropped their Cahokia match at Columbia 17-25, 17-25 to drop to 2-5 on the year. The JV lost in 3 sets 25-22, 13-25, 20-25 to fall to 3-4 on the season and the freshman lost in 2 sets 21-9, 21-9. Salem is back in action Tuesday at Carlyle.
The South Central Lady Cougars knocked off St Anthony 25-23, 26-24 to improve to 3-3 on the season. Sydnee Garrett had 13 kills and Halle Smith 12 with Smith adding 8 digs, Sierra Arnold had 10, Madyson Magnus had 16 assists and Brook Cowger finished with 4 blocks. The JV lost 23-25, 23-25 and are 3-3 and the Fresh Soph lost in 2 sets and are 2-2-and-1.
