Bond was set at $15,000 in Marion County Court on Thursday for a 29-year-old Mascoutah man who scuffled with Centralia Police after running naked on South Poplar Street.
Tyler Duke was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer and aggravated assault for allegedly shoving one officer as well as unlawful possession of 30 to 100 grams of cannabis. The cannabis was allegedly found with his clothing in a car he had parked on the Huck’s parking lot. The cannabis charge is a Class 4 felony due to a prior Clinton County conviction.
The public defender was appointed to represent Duke. If released on bond, he was ordered to have no drugs or alcohol.
