A 38-year-old Sandoval man was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail by Salem Police for aggravated battery to a police officer. Police say William Eagan of Jefferson Street allegedly struck an officer in the shoulder when he was trying to pull away from a medical check after reportedly being knocked out during an altercation in the bar at the Village Garden late Friday night.
A 28-year-old Centralia man was arrested by Centralia Police on an outstanding Marion County failure to appear warrant on a pending burglary charge. Lee Wright of Community Beach Road was taken to the county jail where he was being held in lieu of $20,000 bond.
29-year-old Allison Palmer of North Cedar in Sandoval was arrested by a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy on an outstanding Perry County warrant on an earlier conviction on a possession of controlled substance charge. Palmer was released after posting $1,500 cash bond.
