Two Kenosha, Wisconsin residents were injured when their car ran off northbound Interstate 57 south of Salem early Thursday morning.

State Police say a preliminary investigation indicates the car driven by 45-year-old Andre Boose lost control and ran off the right side of the road, skidded into a ditch and struck a tree.

Both the driver and passenger, 32-year-old Tiffany Boose, were transported to Salem Township Hospital by United Medical Response ambulance for treatment of what state police termed non-life-threatening injuries.

Andre Boose was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions, driving with a revoked driver’s license, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

The crash occurred at the 108.5-mile marker at 2:32 Thursday morning.   The Kell Fire Department also responded to assist the victims.
