A 22-year-old Walnut Hill man received apparent minor injuries when his pickup truck ran off the Green Street Road near Lakeshore Drive late Tuesday afternoon.
Initial information indicates Jonathan Cavaletto fell asleep, struck a guard rail at the end of a bridge and went down an embankment about 30 feet. His truck hit several small trees on the way down.
Salem Fire Protection District officials say Cavaletto was out of pickup walking around at the time emergency help arrived. He was treated on the scene by United Medical Response, but refused hospital treatment.
The crash occurred at 4:03 Tuesday afternoon.
