A 34-year-old Centralia man has been arrested by Centralia Police for residential burglary and possession of a controlled substance. Centralia Police Chief Greg Dodson says Blake Miller of Fulton Road was wanted in connection with a January burglary to a friend’s home where cash and other items were stolen. At the time he was taken into custody during an inspection at the Home Motel, Miller allegedly had a controlled substance in his possession leading to a second charge.
A 41-year-old Salem man has been arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for aggravated battery. Nathan Jean of West Olive is accused of biting his mother during what is being called a rolling domestic. Salem Police originally was called to check on the wellbeing of the alleged victim, when determining the incident had occurred in the county.
Salem Police arrested 33-year-old Amanda Casner of William Road in Carlyle on an outstanding Marion County felony theft warrant. She was taken to the Marion County Jail where she is being held in lieu of $3,000 bond. Police say Casner was a passenger in a traffic stop.
A 51-year-old Belleville woman has turned herself in on an outstanding Marion County failure to appear warrant in a DUI case. Susan Sledge posted $500 bond and was released.
A 41-year-old Centralia, Melissa Joiner of East 4th, posted bond and was released after being arrested for violation of bail bond.
