A 36-year-old Salem man originally picked up by Salem Police on an earlier retail theft had drug charges added after he was allegedly found in possession of more than 15 grams of methamphetamine. Michael Lyday Junior of Charleston Road had a charge of bringing contraband into a penal institution added after he was allegedly found with a baggie of a white crystal substance hidden on his body. Police located Lyday in the parking lot of the Casey General Store where he was initially arrested for a retail theft that allegedly occurred earlier at Discount Tobacco. The charge was a felony because of a prior conviction.
43-year-old Paul Wright of Martin Luther King Drive in Centralia remained in custody Monday on an outstanding Marion County felony failure to appear warrant in a possession of a controlled substance case.
29-year-old Zachery Pierce of South Cherry in Centralia is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond on a Marion County felony failure to appear warrant in a domestic battery case.
Sandoval Police arrested 39-yea-rold Kevin Draper of East 2nd in Kinmundy for alleged possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a narcotic instrument and on a Clinton County felony failure to appear warrant. Bond on the warrant is set at $5,000.
41-year-old Anna Followell of Germantown was arrested by Centralia Police on a Bond County felony warrant with bond set at $20,000.
