The Selmaville Rockets are Class S regional champions after their win over Iuka last night 42-38. Heydin Purcell scored 30 in his finale for the Rockets finishing a fantastic career. The other 8th graders for the Rockets were Kaden James who scored 5, Owen Becker 4 and Wyatt Rau 3. Iuka was led by Kam’Ron Hilton with 23, Luke Anderson finished with 10 and Ayden Rose added 5.
Raccoon is the site today for the regional championship between the host Devils and St Marys/New Horizon Centralia. Start time at noon.
In Class L at O’Fallon Fulton, Carlyle fell in the championship to the hosts 52-34.
