Two Centralia men have been sentenced to prison in Marion County Court.
30-year-old TJ Chumley of West Broadway in Centralia was sentenced to three years in prison to be followed by one year of parole for aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude police. Judge Alan Lolie sentenced Chumley in absentia on Thursday when he failed to show up for the sentencing hearing. Chumley had been warned that would happen if he did not show up. He was given credit for 28 days already served in the Marion County Jail. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia had been dropped at the time he entered the plea agreement.

Scott Miller of Clarida Street admitted to taking collectible coins from a home on Bannister Road in rural Salem and a generator, hunting knives, and other hunting supplies from another location. Both sentences will be served concurrently. Miller was also ordered to complete one year parole when getting out of prison. He received credit for 115 days already served.
