A 38-year-old Centralia woman has been arrested on new drug charges and an outstanding warrant.   Centralia Police initially stopped Tina Lee of Marion Street while she was walking Wednesday afternoon due to the warrant on a petition to revoke her probation on a possession of meth conviction.   New charges were added for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a narcotic instrument after those items were allegedly found in her possession.

A 34-year-old Carlyle man is being held in the Marion County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond after being arrested for failure to appear in court on a possession of methamphetamine conviction.  David Wells of North Street was arrested in Washington County and transported back to the Marion County Jail on Wednesday.

A 33-year-old Salem woman posted $200 bond and was released after being arrested on a warrant to revoke her probation in a burglary conviction.   Shannon Garney of Robin Road was stopped by Salem Police on Wednesday while walking at Miller and Lyford Street.

Centralia City Firemen were called out Wednesday night to a wooded area near Kell and Oak where an old mattress had caught fire.   The fire was confined to the mattress.
