Kindergarten screenings and pre-registration for the 2021-22 school year is scheduled for Monday, April 26th, for the residents of the Iuka School District. Students will be screened during 15-minute appointments beginning at 8:15 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m.
Please call the school office at 323-6233 to schedule an appointment. To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2021.
Due to COVID, they will only allow one parent per child into the building. Both parent and child will need to wear a mask.
If your child did not attend Pre-K, they will need a certified birth certificate, shot record, and proof of residency in the district.
State law requires any student entering kindergarten to have a physical and vision exam signed by a doctor and must have completed required immunizations.
Students being screened must also enroll during the Iuka Grade School regular school enrollment, which is usually held at the end of July.
