A 29-year-old Odin man has been arrested by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for aggravated fleeing and eluding police.
John Williams of Linton Street was sitting in a car outside his home when a sheriff’s deputy approached to talk with him at the family’s request. He allegedly fled with speeds in the early morning chase through Odin reaching 85 miles hour when Williams went across the Perkins Street Railroad Crossing, lost control, and went into the roadside ditch. The vehicle then reportedly came out of the ditch and hit a parked car.
Williams was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on the filing of any charges.
