The KC Blue Devils dropped to 6-6 on the season and 3-5 in the GRAC after their 75-70 loss to Wabash Valley. The Devils had the ball in the game’s final 15 seconds down by 3 but threw the ball away forcing them to foul and the game got out of reach. Payton Sheen had 16 to lead KC, Chris White and Jalen Williams had 12 each, Chauncey Hughes and Shomari Tillett added 11 each. JeJuan Weathersoon had 17 of his game-high 26 in the first half, Deshaun Nettles added 14. KC will host SWIC tomorrow at 7:30 as part of a men’s/women’s double header on WJBD.
The Blue Angels knocked off Olney Central on the road 74-62. Megan Kronk hit 5 three’s on her way to 19 points. Reyna Bullock added 16, Janiah Newell 13 and Peyton Wilderman finished with 10. KC improves to 3-9 overall and 2-6 in the GRAC as they prepare for SWIC Wednesday.
The KC Blue Angels return to volleyball action tonight as they travel to Shawnee.
