Jylen Petty led KC with 20; Shomari Tillett added 19 and Payton Sheen finished with 18. Sydney Curry and Romon Douglas-Watkins had 19 each for the Volunteers with Xavier Ball adding 17. KC is 6-5 overall and 3-4 in the Region.
The KC Blue Angels are back in action tonight as they play at Olney Central College. KC is -9 overall and 1-6 in the GRAC after a tough 72-67 loss at home to John A Logan on Saturday. KC had the game cut to 1 point with less than 15 seconds left but couldn’t get over the hump to earn the win. Reyna Bullock had the hot hand with 17 points; Janiah Newell added 15 points and 6 rebounds.
