The City of Salem has announced East Lawn Cemetery will be cleaned on Monday, March 22nd.
Public Works Director Annette Brushwitz says all grave blankets, flowers and decorations will be removed. If you wish to save these items, you are asked to remove them prior to this date.
Flowers may once again be placed at gravesites in compliance with city code beginning Tuesday, March 23rd.
