Salem’ retiring public works director was honored at Monday night’s meeting with a plaque of appreciation.
Mayor Pro-Tem Nic Farley made the presentation.
“In recognition for grateful appreciation for the 40 years of loyal and dedicated service to the city of Salem. Your expertise has served the citizens of Salem very well. On behalf of the City Council, city staff and the citizens of Salem we wish you the best on your much deserved retirement.”
Farley told Pruden his knowledge would be missed and his service to the city has been unmatched. Farley also called Pruden a very good steward of the taxpayer dollar.
Pruden in turn thank the present and past city council’s and Mayor’s for their support.
