Franklin Park finished their volleyball regular season unbeaten at 7-0 following their 25-17, 25-18 win over Kell last night on 8th grade night. The JV also finished the year undefeated with their 25-18, 25-23 victory. Franklin Park will open up Class L Regionals tonight as the host. The first game of the night will be Casey Mt Vernon against Centralia followed by the Franklin Park and Hamilton County match. The championship will be played later this evening.
The Iuka Lady Pirates defeated Willow Grove in three sets behind 12 service points from Larissa Carpenter and 7 more from Riley Vincent. Pressley Harris added 3 kills.
In Class S regional play at Trinity Stewardson last night, St Peter fell to Trinity 25-23, 20-25, 8-15. The hosts move into the title game on Thursday against tonight’s winner between Altamont Lutheran and Clay City.
Also tonight in Class S regionals at Bartelso it’s the host and St Libory followed by Breese All Saints and Hoffman Trinity. The title match is also tonight at 7pm. At Selmaville tonight the host Lady Rockets will play at 4pm at the same time as Willow Grove and Patoka. The winners play tomorrow at 4pm for the title.
