Salem is coming off a dominant win over Freeburg at home on Thursday. Salem has just 3 games left on their schedule that will include next week games at Wesclin and Okawville while they travel to Carlyle next weekend. The Cats are 2-5 overall and 2-3 in the Cahokia.

Also in girls basketball today, Centralia hosts Marion, Christ Our Rock at McGivney. Christ Our Rock is coming off a 60-38 loss to Alton Marquette last night.
South Central missed 2 big free throws late and couldn’t hit 4 potential game-tying 3’s in the game’s final minutes as they fell at Dieterich in NTC play 55-50. SC held a 12 point lead in the first half, but saw it disappear. Keenin Wilshire led SC with 22 and Collin Miller finished with 16. The Cougars are 4-2 overall and will host Sandoval today at 11am and then tonight will welcome Patoka at 6:15.
