The KC Blue Angels dropped their game to 6th ranked Lake Land in Mattoon 80-63. Janiah Newell and Reyna Bullock finished with 11each, Megan Kronk added 8. KC trailed 19-13 after the opening quarter and 38-26 at the halftime break. Malea Lovelace , Kyra Duncan and Nyah Ford each had 7 for coach Jay Jenkins team who will play at Vincennes tomorrow night ahead of the men’s game.
The KC volleyball team continues action tonight when they host the University of Health and Sciences. KC is 5-1 after Monday night’s 3-0 straight set’s win at home over Wabash Valley.
