Salem Bowl was the site for a junior high school match over the weekend. Franklin Park ran away from the field outdistancing 2nd place Selmaville in the boys field by nearly 400 pins. Central City was 3rd followed by the Franklin Park Mixed team 4th, then Kell 2, Kell 1.
In the girls competition, Franklin Park was a close winner over Selmaville.
Individually Franklin Park’s Ryan Detering won the event rolling 625 followed by Selmaville’s Kyler Sapp with 541, Silas Moats was 10 pins back in 3rd for Franklin Park with teammate Rhett Detering 4th with a 497.
The girls event was won by Selmaville’s Ava Birch 413, Brooklyn Hamilton of Franklin Park was 2nd with 375 and Selmaville’s Alexis Chitwood’s 352 was 3rd.
