A 22-year-old Centralia man escaped injury but was ticketed following a single-vehicle crash late Friday night in Centralia.
Centralia Police say Darren Jones of East Broadway ran off the 500 block of North Poplar and struck a pole. The crash brought down the pole and lines across North Poplar.
Jones was ticketed for driving under the influence of alcohol, operating an uninsured vehicle, and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was given a notice to appear in court.
The crash occurred at 11:45 Friday night.
Centralia City Firemen were called to assist.
