Southbound Interstate 57 has reopened near the Dix exit following a Tuesday morning crash that reportedly involved four cars and three semis.
Jefferson Fire Protection District responded to check for injuries and entrapment. Everyone was able to get out of their vehicles and there were no injuries.
State Police are handling the crash. Marion County ESDA had been diverting all southbound traffic at State Route 161 onto Route 37 to Mt. Vernon.
The crash was first reported at 9:30 Tuesday morning.
