The KC Blue Devils fell to 4-2 on the season with a non-conference loss at home to SWIC on Saturday 81-76. The Devils led most of the first half until SWIC came back to take a 38-36 advantage after the first half.
The Blue Storm would extend that lead to 11 in the 2nd half, which KC would come back and tie the score on 2 different occasions but couldn’t come completely back for the win.
Shomari Tillett led KC with 21, Payton Sheen added 18 and Chris White 13. Jaden Wallace played very well off the bench for coach Hancock and finished with 9. Edwardsville grad Jack Marinko had 18 to lead SWIC.
The Devils are scheduled to travel to Wabash Valley today weather permitting, host Lake Land Wednesday and Lincoln Trail on Saturday.
