A 42-year-old Centralia woman has been arrested by Centralia Police for aggravated domestic battery. Heather Bray of East 3rd was taken to the Marion County Jail to await a decision on formal charges.
Salem Police arrested a 34-year-old Salem woman for possession of a stolen or misplaced credit or debit card. Salem Police say the incident allegedly occurred on January 21st, but Tiffany Organ of South Marion was not located until a Saturday night traffic stop in which she was a passenger. The driver, 36-year-old Michael Lyday of Salem, was given a notice to appear in court by Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies for driving on a revoked license and operating an uninsured vehicle. The traffic stop occurred on Spruce Street east of Illinois Street. A canine unit alerted on the vehicle and drug paraphernalia was allegedly found, but deputies say no arrest was made in connection with the paraphernalia.
25-year-old Cornell Hannah of South Kaskaskia in Nashville was arrested by Centralia Police on a petition to revoke his probation on a felony criminal damage to state-supported property charge. He was taken to the Marion County Jail where he is being held in lieu of a $3,000 bond.
Marion County prisoner transport returned 18-year-old Darrion Walker of Springfield, Illinois from Springfield on an outstanding Marion County failure to appear warrant on a robbery conviction. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
23-year-old Jonathan Shizirungu of Antioch, Tennessee was returned by Marion County prisoner transport from Davenport, Iowa where he was arrested on a failure to appear in court warrant in a pending charge of a felon in possession of a weapon. He is being held on a $10,000 bond.
