A shed was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning in Centralia.
Centralia City Firemen say the fire was at the Patricia Hollingsead residence at 1000 Gragg Street.
The shed, which was just a short distance away from the Hollingsead mobile home, was fully engulfed in flames when the fire was discovered. The fire was so hot it melted some of the exterior siding and soffit as well as setting some of the insulation under the mobile home on fire. However, the fire was extinguished before it moved into the mobile home.
Hollingsead said there was a heat lamp inside the shed to keep their dog warm that could have fallen over or malfunctioned. The fire is being listed as accidental.
All available Centralia City firemen were called to fight the fire.
The alarm came in at 1:44 Sunday morning. Firemen were on the scene until 3:55 am.
