A 53-year-old Centralia man was injured in a single-vehicle crash early Friday morning in downtown Centralia.
Salvador Alcanter of Short Street told Centralia Police he was approaching the intersection when a semi ran a red light. He swerved to avoid a crash and ran into a pole.
Centralia City Firefighters say Alcanter was out of his vehicle upon their arrival. He was transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries.
The crash occurred at 4:36 Friday morning.
