A 45-year-old Centralia man has been arrested on a warrant charging Contempt of Court for allegedly being present at a Zoom Court Hearing where he had earlier been barred.

William McClanahan of South Elm had also reportedly made comments that could be heard during the Zoom hearing in a Marion County Juvenile case on Monday being conducted by Judge Erika Sanders.

Judge Alan Lolie issued the warrant for McClanahan’s arrest and set bond at $50,000.

Centralia Police Chief Greg Dodson says McClanahan was taken into custody on Wednesday when coming to the Centralia Police Station to file an unrelated complaint. He was unaware the warrant had been issued.

McClanahan was taken to the Marion County Jail to await further court action in the case.
