State Police say three people were injured Monday night in a two truck crash on U.S. 50 at the Old Route 50 intersection in Xenia.
Preliminary investigation indicates a box truck driven by 34-year-old Romano Ruslan of Orlando, Florida was traveling east on U.S.
50 when he lost control in heavy snow and crossed into the westbound lanes. Rusland sideswiped a westbound truck driven by 48-year-old Robert Hales of Lawrenceville.
Both drivers along with a passenger in Hale’s truck, 18-year-old Alex Carrell of Lawrenceville, were all taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Ruslan was ticketed for driving too fast for conditions, improper lane usage and illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver.
