A second person has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of robbery in connection with the Christmas Eve 2019 armed robbery and stabbing of a 25-year-old Central City man.
26-year-old David Sickler of Clinmar Street was placed on four years probation, given credit for 24 days served in jail, and order to undergo drug and alcohol evaluation, treatment, and random testing. A charge of armed robbery was dropped as part of the plea.
Kody Biegeleisen reportedly had his cell phone stolen and was stabbed in the incident. Centralia Police say Biegeleisen had initially lied about what happening, claiming it had occurred during an attempted carjacking in Centralia.
Centralia Police say Sickler was present when the alleged stabbing and robbery took place on the Point on Raccoon Lake. Sickler admitted in the robbery charge to the use of force or being accountable for someone who did.
24-year-old Justin Landreth of Salem has been identified by Centralia Police for allegedly committed the stabbing and armed robbery. He still has an armed robbery charge pending, but it was removed from the jury trial calendar last week due to negotiations underway to reach a plea agreement.
A 20-year-old Sandoval woman who allegedly lured Biegeleisen onto the point, Melissa Landreth, pleaded guilty in December to a reduced charge of robbery and was sentenced to four years probation and given credit for 40 days served in the Marion County Jail.
