A 45-year-old Wamac man has been arrested for bringing contraband into a penal institution as well as on two outstanding warrants.   Marion County Sheriff’s Officials say a baggie that contained what field-tested as methamphetamine was found in the possession of Ernest Speagle of Wall Street when he was being booked into the Marion County Jail.  He had originally been brought to jail on an outstanding Marion County warrant to revoke his probation on a domestic battery conviction and a Clay County felony failure to appear warrant.  Bond on the warrants totaled $3,500.

47-year-old Rickey Leek of East 3rd in Centralia was arrested by Centralia Police for aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.

38-year-old Jodie McPhail of Cody Road in Centralia was given a notice to appear after being arrested for battery after allegedly striking a male at her home.

35-year-old Jordan Picard of Heritage Street in Irvington posted a $500 cash bond and was released on a Marion County felony warrant on a petition to revoke his probation on a forgery conviction.
