The KC Blue Angels improved to 2-0 after their 25-22, 25-16, 27-25 win over St Louis Community College.
In the opening set the Blue Angels erased a 16-14 deficit going on a 5-0 run after four straight Brooklynn Smith service points.
KC jumped to an 8-2 lead in the 2nd set and cruised.
In the 3rd set KC trailed 17-14 until their 5-0 run after a double block from Alyssa Hutton and Gabby Jamurk. Molly Diekemper had a big kill late as well to help seal the win.
The KC Blue Angels volleyball team are in action tonight when they travel to SWIC.
