A 33-year-old Mt. Vernon man has been sentenced to three years in prison after his probation was revoked on an unlawful possession of stolen vehicle charge.

Sean Beasley of South 20th admitted to failure to appear in court. He was also ordered to complete two years of parole when getting out of prison. Beasley will receive credit for 583 days already served in the Marion County Jail.

Beasley was originally charged in February 2019 with being in possession of a vehicle he knew was stolen.
