Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 21-year-old Donald Fairchild of West Warmoth in Salem for possession of less than 5 grams of methamphetamine. Fairchild was taken into custody during a traffic stop at Pine and Ohio in Salem. He was also ticketed for no valid license.
19-year-old Katlin Hollinshead of East 5th in Kinmundy was released on a notice to appear in court after being arrested by sheriff’s deputies on an outstanding Effingham County warrant.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a residential burglary to a home in the 1100 block of South Perrine just south of Centralia. A back door was busted open to gain access. Clothing was reportedly stolen.
