It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our son, Nathan Tyler Hunter, age 30 of Alma, who passed away at his home on Monday, January 24, 2022. Nathan was employed at the Salem Wal-Mart Super Center for over 10 years. He enjoyed fishing, riding four wheelers, and playing video games. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Funeral services for Nathan Tyler Hunter will be held at Noon on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with R.C. Merten officiating. Burial will be in Alma Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one half-brother, Jason Hunter and wife Ann of Centralia; two sisters, Cassidy Hunter of Alma and Danielle Cooper and husband Jody of Iuka; and eight nephews, Hunter, Preston, TJ, Cash, Gordon, Cameron, Brylan, and Zayne.
Nathan was born on December 8, 1991 in Centralia, the son of Bradley and Patricia (Alderson) Hunter and they survive in Alma. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Robert “Bobby” Alderson; grandparents, Earl Hunter, Max Massey, and Robert Alderson; great-grandparents, Bernard and Erma Gaston.
