The Kaskaskia College Blue Devils cruised to their 2nd straight home win to start their season, knocking off Hannibal LaGrange JV 81-52.
Traeveion Jones created the opportunities in the first half with Shomari Tillett dominating the 2nd half scoring 13 of his team-high 17 points in the last 20 minutes. Jones finished with 16 while Chris White and Payton Sheen added 14 and 11 respectively. The Devils led 41-24 at the halftime break. Drew Hamski hit 6 three-pointers to score a game-high 22 for the Trojans, but was the only one in double figures for the visitors. The Blue Devils return to action at home on Tuesday when they host Missouri Baptist. They knocked them off in the opener on Wednesday night 104-77.
The KC Blue Angels look for their first win after dropping their opener at 4th ranked Lincoln Trail when they host Danville Area College today starting at 1pm on WJBD. Jenkins team is coming off that loss where Waltonville grad Peyton Wilderman led the Angels with 14.
