The Marion County Sheriff’s Department is investigating two-vehicle burglaries and an attempt to steal a third in a neighborhood east of Centralia.
The sheriff’s department reports someone attempted to pop a car into gear and roll it down a driveway on Woods Lane. The vehicle was found a short distance down the road in a ditch.
The department took a report of a gun being stolen from a vehicle on Meadow Lane and an iPad and earphones being stolen from a second vehicle parked at a home on Woods Lane.
All three incidents are believed to have occurred late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.
