Centralia Police and Fire officials are currently looking for a group of teens who are believed to have entered a vacant home and started a fire by lighting a blanket on fire.
The blaze was at a home owned by Leslie Erb at 842 East Broadway.

Firemen were able to keep the fire confined to the bedroom where it began, but there was some smoke damage throughout the home. All available Centralia City Firefighters were called to fight the blaze. There were no reports of injury.
Those reporting the fire reported seeing two people running from the home. The State Fire Marshal’s office arson dog was called to assist in trying to determine the cause of the fire.

A witness was reportedly found later who provided details on how the fire had allegedly started. The witness indicated a group had been in and out of the home in the past.
The fire call came in at 5:55 Monday night. Firemen were on the scene for about an hour and a half.
