The Salem Shrine Club has elected officers for the coming year and has awarded $7,500 to various groups to support their activities.
Steve Lindsey was elected as the new Salem Shrine Club President. Mike Molenhour will serve as Vice-President. Mike Mills will be the Second Vice-President. Russell Swift will serve as Treasurer.
The Salem Shrine Club also awarded $5,000 to the St. Louis Shrine Hospital and $1,000 to the Shrine Hospital Burn Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. The group made $500 donations to the Salem Fraternal Order of Police Shop with a Cop program, the Salem Elks Summer Lunch Program, and the Salem Rotary Club’s shoe program for low-income students.
Club officials note their donations are down by half the normal amount due to fewer activities as a result of COVID-19 restrictions.
