A 29-year-old Centralia man has pleaded guilty in Marion County Court to aggravated battery to a police officer.
Joshua Lucas of South Pine admitted to kicking a Sandoval Police officer when he was attempting to take him into custody in December for alleged disorderly conduct.
Lucas was placed on four years probation, given credit for 24 days served in the Marion County Jail and ordered to undergo drug and alcohol treatment.
Sandoval Police were initially looking for Lucas after receiving complaints of a man jumping in front of traffic on U.S. 51 in Sandoval. He was later taken into custody on South Maple in Sandoval where the altercation occurred.
