Centralia City Firemen say a fire the broke out in a bedroom of a vacant mobile home at 1113 Case Street Friday night is suspicious in nature.
Flames were showing from the window of the bedroom as firemen arrived on the scene. They got a quick knockdown to keep the fire from spreading. However, there was smoke damage throughout the mobile home.
The ownership of the mobile home was not immediately available.
All available Centralia City Firefighters were called to the scene, while Centralia District Firemen stood by at the Centralia Station for a short period of time.
The fire call came in a 6:37 Friday night with firemen remaining on the scene for about an hour and a half.
