A 28-year-old Centralia man has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty in both Marion and Clinton County Courts to unlawful possession of under five grams of methamphetamine.
Cody Rigney of Poplar Street in Centralia entered a guilty plea in Marion County Court on Tuesday and was sentenced to two years in prison. The time is to be served concurrently with a three year prison term handed down to Rigney in November in Clinton County Court on another possession of methamphetamine charge. Court records indicated he was eligible for an extended term sentence following an earlier Marion County felony conviction.
Rigney was ordered to complete one year parole when getting out of prison. He was also given credit for 426 days already served in the Marion County Jail.
