A 38-year-old Centralia man was arrested after allegedly answering the door of his home holding a machete when a parole agent came to visit on Tuesday.
Michael Foutch of South Walnut was also arrested on drug charges and taken to the Marion County Jail. He faces new charges of illegal possession of a weapon by a felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant.
Centralia Police was called to assist and reportedly found Foutch also in possession of multiple knives, 3.8 grams of methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
