The Centralia Police Department has named Connie Ballantini as its 2020 Employee of the Year.
Ballantini has served as the Administrative Assistant to the Police Chief for over 20 years.
In handing out the award, Chief Greg Dodson noted Connie’s commitment to the department’s mission has never gone unnoticed. He said her hard work and dedication is greatly appreciated.
Connie was this year’s overwhelming choice when each employee was asked by the chief who should get this award.
Ballantini says she is honored with the award but feels it should always go to an officer or dispatcher as most people would be shocked if they knew what they go through each day. She loves coming to work in the morning and how she is always made to feel a large part of the police operation.
