CARBONDALE, Ill. (AP) — Lance Jones had 19 points as Southern Illinois extended its season-opening winning streak to seven games, getting past Evansville 63-57.

Marcus Domask added 14 points and seven rebounds for the Salukis.

Jawaun Newton led the Purple Aces with 14 points.
