Sandoval woman allegedly enters home and stabs bed

A 53-year-old Sandoval woman has been charged in Marion County Court with felony criminal trespass to a residence with a person inside and aggravated assault.

Teresa Cain of West Virginia is accused of entering a Sandoval home by opening a door that had been previously been chained shut knowing someone was present.  She’s then charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon by stabbing an occupied bed of the resident putting him in jeopardy of a battery.

The bond is set at $5,100.   If released on bond, Cain was ordered to have no contact with the victim or residence.    The public defender was appointed to represent her.
