The VFW Post 2055 Auxiliary in Centralia hosted an essay competition, “What is Patriotism To Me” for all local students. Congratulations to Franklin Park 8th grader Ella Douglas who placed 1st. Kylie Engel was 2nd and Salem’s Cole Casburn 3rd. The top 3 have their essays sent to VFW District 13 for judging.
