No. 3 Ohio State will try to claim its fourth consecutive outright conference crown Saturday when it faces No. 15 Northwestern in the Big Ten championship game. Last year’s victory over Wisconsin gave the Buckeyes a school-record three consecutive outright titles. Northwestern hasn’t won a conference championship since 2000 and has only two outright titles, the last coming in 1995. The Buckeyes have eight straight in the series including a victory over the Wildcats in the league’s 2018 championship game. Ohio State also hopes to lock up a berth in the four-team playoff.
