A 34-year-old Salem man has been arrested by Salem Police for alleged aggravated battery and aggravated domestic battery following incidents involving a nine-year-old boy.
Raymond Stroup of Warmoth Street was arrested at a Salem motel on Tuesday and taken to the Marion County Jail pending a final decision on charges.
Police Detectives say a relative had noticed marks on the boy and reported the incident to police. The boy reportedly had been choked and thrown across a room on December 7th.
